WHO AM I?

I'm a mix. Of places, cultures, moods and contradictions. My roots reach from France to Asia and the Caribbean — and maybe that's why I've never felt we have to fit neatly into one box.

I can be curious and calm, elegant and wild, serious about the things that matter and completely unserious about almost everything else.

I love discovering what's behind the obvious. The little stories. The unexpected people. The places nobody told you to look at.

Maybe that's what curiosity really is: never assuming you've already seen the whole picture.

WHY I AM A V-GUIDE...

I don't want to travel just to collect places. I want to understand them.

To meet people I would never meet in my everyday life. To listen to their stories, experience their culture and sometimes leave my own comfort zone behind.

For me, discovering the world also means discovering how much we have in common — even when our lives, languages or backgrounds seem completely different.

There are places I dream about long before I ever get there.

Jamaica. Guatemala. And so many more.

Sometimes it's the landscape that draws me in. Sometimes the culture, the music, the food or simply a story I've heard about the people who live there.

But I don't want to arrive, take a picture and leave again. I want to stay. Listen. Explore. Get lost sometimes. And discover the things no travel guide could ever tell me.

I believe the way we treat people matters more than where we come from, what we own or how different our lives may look.

I'm curious about people who don't think like me. About cultures I don't know yet. About stories that challenge the way I see the world.

For me, respect doesn't mean we all have to agree. It means listening before judging, asking before assuming and being open enough to discover that there is always more than one way to see something.

BOB MARLEY 1945 — 1981

If I could sit down with one person from another time, I think I would choose Bob Marley.

Not only because of the music. I would love to understand the person behind it — how he stayed true to what he believed in, and how he turned music into something that could connect people across cultures, countries and generations.

Decades later, people who weren't even born during his lifetime still know his songs, his words and what he stood for.

I think that's extraordinary. To create something that lives longer than you do — and leaves a little more love, freedom and unity behind.
