Yesterday, we were all about sound. Today, AQIPA takes us even further, exploring some seriously cool audio gear. Turns out, vinyl isn’t the only thing making a comeback—cassettes are back too! And that’s awesome, because analog formats share one thing: their sound is unique.
Perfect? Nope. But who wants perfection anyway? Skyscrapers, bridges, and trains need precision. Music? Music is meant to move us, inspire us, and make us feel. And nothing does that like vinyl or cassettes. Their warm, analog tones—and the little effort it takes to jump to the next track—make you slow down and actually listen. Heavy metal or techno, it doesn’t matter: these formats teach patience and presence.
Brands like TEAC are bringing that joy back, and AQIPA has even more in store. Take Polaroid, for example: classy, exciting, and perfectly aligned with our obsession with beautiful imperfection.
And then there’s HOVERAir—makers of self-flying cameras. Unlike yesterday’s drones, these little gadgets don’t need a pilot license. They can’t fly as high, but they follow you around, capturing every step of your adventure in stunning clips. Spontaneous moments? Perfectly documented.
Next up: Majority, a Cambridge-born startup blending elite-quality sound with products anyone can afford. Their newest soundbar? Cinema-level audio without breaking the bank.
Finally, we took off (virtually) with MOC Simulation. Flying is one of humanity’s greatest achievements, and here you can safely learn the ropes in authentic cockpits. Will I ever actually pilot a real plane? Who knows—but the simulator gave me a taste of the thrill and control of flight. Berlin, we’ll be visiting the MOC team soon—can’t wait!
