The new week begins on the water. For the morning, the local friends have invited the V-GUIDES on one of their boats (private) or on the M/S KYSTEN for a breakfast cruise through the harbor and along the coast.

Back on land, the explorers at the FORSVARSMUSEUM (DEFENCE AND GARRISON MUSEUM) once again remind themselves of the importance of keeping the peace. Wars are always stupid! In the FUNCENTER, some of the friends experience that they can instead prove their combat skills with a paintball battle and laser game match in a very funny way.

The other group roams through the ZOO before everyone relaxes together in MØLLE PARK (THE MILL PARK) behind and says goodbye to Aalborg and their new friends with a magnificent view of the city, the Limfjorden, and Gjøl.

From here they can already discover their next destination, the small island of ENGHOLM to which they cross with the iconic EGHOLMFÆRGEN (Egholm ferry). Here, the group takes a little refreshment to prepare themselves for a journey through time to the Viking era. Because it goes across the river to LINDHOLM BEACH PARK, and after a little refreshment in CAFÉ LINDHOLM, they pass the URTEHAVEN – HERB GARDEN and THE SUNDBY COLLECTIONS, FREDERIK RASCHS VEJ.

The way continues to the archaeological site LINDHOLM HØJE. Not far from the airport, the researchers find this ancient burial ground of the Norsemen, as well as the LINDHOLM HØJE MUSEUM. Along the northern side of the Limfjorda and the NØRRESUNDBY YACHT HARBOR, the explorers head to HALS, where THE BUNKERS AT NORDMANDSHAGE and MØLLESTENEN BEACH await.

A little north, in DRONNINGLUND, the friends find the VILLAGE MØLLEGAARD, where they take nice photos with the old windmill, before discovering the NATURE PARK and the DRONNINGLUND SLOT.

Maybe they also have some time for a PARTIE GOLF. Howsoever, the friends visit the die GALLERY GLOCAL ART, the KUNSTCENTER with its CAFÉ, the CERAMICIST RIKKE BARLEBO, VILLAGE CHURCH, VOER CHURCH and, thus, they reach the VOERGAARD SLOT. The girls learn from the museum team that the beautiful Renaissance building, which construction began in 1481, is full of ghost stories. Therefore, the house belongs to one of Denmark’s haunted castles.

PREVIEW – SIDE STORY

In the 29th CALENDAR WEEK, the girls believe in the spook, because during the MEDIEVAL DAYS, countless figures from the Middle Ages stroll through the castle and its surroundings. (then, include DONNINGLUND HOTEL if necessary)

It’s time again to go west. Because today, the girls want to test some of the best beaches. So it goes back to the SVINKLØV BEACH (SVINKLOVENE AREAL) and along the EJSTRUP BEACH and TRANUM BEACH with their bunkers to the LERUP STRAND. No question, wild and fun activities are on the agenda everywhere.

At the beautiful RØDHUS BEACH in PANDRUP, some of the girls enjoy the sun for a moment on completely bare skin, because it is allowed to bathe naked here. The somewhat shy girls now go to GALLERI RØDHUSGAARDEN, where they discover visual art, glass art, and fantastic sculptures of high quality from both Danish and foreign artists.

On the wonderful fine white BLOKHUS BEACH and the SALTUM STRAND, there is plenty of sun, fun, and sport for everyone. Meanwhile, some of the girls relax in the sand and on the beautiful dunes. Art and nature dominate in BRØNDERSLEV. Be it in the VILDMOSE MUSEUM, the tree artwork at OLE’S GALLERY, or with ARTIST JOHN LAURSEN, from whom the girls learn more about his fondness for clowns.

In the GALLERY HELGI, our design-loving girls can experience how tin can be used artistically. After that, the path leads the V-GUIDES to the DEER FORREST and into the GREAT WILD MOOR, where they climb the LOOKOUT TOWER to follow its name. Maybe they recognize the old BUNKERANLAGE from the 2WW in LØKKEN.

In RUBJERG KNUDE, one of Denmark’s most famous landmarks awaits the explorers. Because the pretty LIGHTHOUSE threatens to fall into the sea at some point. So, the girls rush to get him in front of their cameras. Here they experience a beautiful sunset and a pleasant night.
