After a nice walk on the beach and breakfast, the V-GUIDES leave SKAGEN. After some water fun at BRATTEN STRAND and STRANDBY BEACH and a visit to the KIRKE, the girls head along the HARBOR in the direction of FREDERIKSHAVN.

The friends make a short detour to the island of HIRSHOLMENE, where they can enjoy a magnificent view from the LIGHTHOUSE and discover the CHURCH and the WW2 BUNKER PLANTS.

SIDE STORY

Maybe the party-loving girls in Frederikshavn will take part in the BEERWALK to learn more about the different Danish beers and their specialties.

After having fun at BANGSBO BEACH, the girls experience how close together beauty and horror are. Because they discover the BANGSBO BOTANISKE HAVE (Bonsai Collection, Rockery Garden…) and the BANGSBO FORT BUNKERMUSEUM. At the BANGSBO MUSEUM, the V-GUIDES follow in the footsteps of the Vikings again on a tour of the ELLINGÅ SHIP. They also learn some secrets about the Norsemen and their ships from the museum team.

The journey continues to SÆBY. Here, the girls marvel at the beautiful CHURCH and take lots of photos of the HARBOR and, of course, the sculpture THE LADY OF THE SEA.

From the port, the team then goes on a voyage of discovery across the water with local friends in a CHARTER BOAT. The first destination is the island between Denmark and Sweden, LÆSØ.

After arriving at OSTERBY HAVN*, the girls strengthen themselves with a delicious fish menu. Because they need the energy to explore a part of the island on HORSES (Krogbaekgaard, Laesoe) or electric ROLLERS (bicycles, scooters…). But before that, they visit the LÆSØ MUSEUM. Here, as well as in the HEDVIGS HUS, the V-GUIDES can immerse themselves directly in the earlier life of the islanders. Afterward, they marvel at the glass figures in the LAESO GLASPUSTERI. Further north the explorers discover the HUMMERHYTTEN, which was once built from flotsam.

In the middle of the island, the LAESO TAARNET (tower) awaits with a breathtaking view of the girls. Not far from there, they buy some souvenirs for themselves and their fans in the cozy STORHAVEN. The next adventure is a tour with the ROENNERBUSSEN, where the friends learn lots of interesting facts about the country and its people from the local guide.

At LAESOE SALTSYDERIET they learn how salt was once produced on the island. The party-loving travelers treat themselves to a refreshing drink at a beer tasting at LÆSØ BRYGHUS before dining at Vestero Havn** and then finding some relaxation at LÆSØ KUR (spa).

Passing the small island of HORNFISKRØN the team heads to ANHOLT.

This little paradise is in the middle of the KATTEGAT. After the friends have docked, they go from the ANHOLT MARINA to the ANHOLT VESTERSTRAND for swimming. From here the girls discover the SØNDERBJERG, from which they have a wonderful view over the island and the sea. Here they also enjoy the tranquility because the adjacent BAY PAKHUSBUGTEN is one of the loneliest beaches in Denmark. From the mountain the girls have also spotted the largest contiguous lichen heath in all of Northern Europe, known as ØRKENEN, dominating much of the island.

The V-GUIDES marvel at the mix of dunes, flat land, and desert. They take lots of photos. Of course, also from some of the 500 different plant species that thrive here. Then the explorers are drawn to TOTTEN on the northeastern tip of the coast. In the local nature reserve, the girls immediately fall in love with the main residents of the region, which they can observe here up close, the SEALS. The V-GUIDES also have an impressive view from the LIGHTHOUSE, whose history dates back to 1560.

The big city girls admire the few people who live on Anholt and can get by on their own, independent of the outside world. Via the ANHOLTER NORDBEACH, where they again enjoy the crystal clear water and sunbathe on the high dunes, the group returns to the harbor.

NOVASOL ANHOLT (web) – summer houses (near the marina)

After a good meal and cool drinks, the V-GUIDES continue to the energy island SAMSØ.

Here they try to find their way out of the world’s largest labyrinth, the SAMSØ LABYRINTEN. The group visits the famous BELL TOWER and the MEDIEVAL CHURCH OF NORDBY. No question, the girls are enchanted by the pretty villages. In the north of the island (NORDØEN) in MÅRUP they delve back into Danish history by visiting the old farm BEYERGÅRDEN. Then it goes to the opposite GALLERY and the pretty HARBOR. The path leads along ONSBJERG to PILLEMARK, where the girls snack on delicious STRAWBERRIES and enjoy the view from MØLLEBAKKEN.

The friends are happy that the island can be completely self-sufficient from renewable energies thanks to the 11 WIND TURBINES. On the ENERGY PATH, they learn from the Samsøers that the heat for the houses is also obtained from renewable energies.

In BALLEN it’s back to the BEACH. The girls satisfy the hunger that is great after so much adventure in one of the RESTAURANTS at the HARBOR. The calories are then processed immediately because the group continues to the old FIREHOUSE IN HÅRMARK. The girls learn that these houses replaced the fire brigade in every village in the past. Then they visit FARMS and the KOLBY MØLLE.

Even the FALCONCENTER will not be forgotten. The tour of the island finally ends at VESBORG FYR. From the LIGHTHOUSE, the girls have a stunning view as far as Funen, Zealand, and Jutland.

Here, they also enjoy a wonderful SUNSET and meet new friends. Those invite the girls to TANTRA YOGA. After this special experience and a long way, the girls are happy to be spoiled with nice MASSAGES.

Deeply relaxed, they then meet the locals, who will tell them more about the exhibitions, works of art, and special features of the island while enjoying delicious wine and fresh food. Exhausted, the V-GUIDES finally fall into their beds.
