These days, Berlin felt closer than ever to a galaxy far, far away. During the weekend of May 2 and 3, something extraordinary happened in the German capital: The Mandalorian suddenly appeared in full Beskar armor at iconic Berlin landmarks like Brandenburg Gate — silently watching over the city like a guardian from another system. Actually, The Mandalorian and Grogu Fan Event was the perfect way to kick off “May the 4th,” the legendary Star Wars Day born from the iconic phrase: “May the Force be with you.”
This is the way… to The Mandalorian and Grogu Press Conference
And the Force was definitely strong in Berlin. Just ahead of the massive The Mandalorian and Grogu fan event, we attended an intimate and surprisingly hilarious press conference featuring Sigourney Weaver, Pedro Pascal and Jon Favreau. The chemistry between the trio was pure hyperspace energy. Between laughter, behind-the-scenes stories and heartfelt reflections, they spoke passionately about their love for the Star Wars universe, filmmaking, and the timeless magic of storytelling itself.
Pedro Pascal charmed the room effortlessly, Sigourney Weaver radiated the cool authority of a Rebel Alliance legend, and Jon Favreau once again proved why he’s become one of the true architects of modern Star Wars. The atmosphere was light, warm and filled with the kind of excitement that reminds you why fans keep returning to this universe generation after generation.
THE MANDALORIAN FAN EVENT
After the talk, the journey continued to the spectacular fan event at Uber Arena, where Berlin transformed into its own cinematic outpost of the Outer Rim.
Right in the heart of the city stood gigantic AT-AT walkers, legions of droids and even a full-sized X-Wing fighter guarding the area like the Rebel fleet had just landed on Earth. Stormtroopers marched through the crowds, lightsabers illuminated the night, and fans from every corner of the galaxy gathered to celebrate together.

But what truly made the event unforgettable wasn’t just the incredible setup or the overwhelming Star Wars atmosphere — it was the people behind it. Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver and Jon Favreau took generous amounts of time for fans, selfies, interviews and conversations, creating moments that felt genuinely personal in the middle of such an enormous spectacle.

THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU REVIEW
And yes — this is the way. I was also lucky enough to already watch the complete film a few days earlier, on April 30. What exactly awaits audiences — and whether The Mandalorian and Grogu will fulfill the massive expectations of Star Wars fans worldwide — will be revealed in my full review coming very soon. Until then: stay tuned… and may the Force be with you.
