These days, due to social media, almost anyone can become famous—even for the most ridiculous posts. But 170 years ago, it was a completely different story. Back then, fame came from talent, intellect, or a remarkable life story—like surviving a daring adventure. Or from building a brand that truly stood for quality. It was in that era, when the spirit of exploration met the world of luxurious travel accessories, that a name was born—one whose initials, LV, still stand today for style and sophistication: Louis Vuitton. Over the decades, it became almost expected to see celebrities and rising stars stepping onto the world’s most exclusive red carpets dressed in Louis Vuitton. And this year’s Met Gala at New York’s iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art was no exception.
So let’s take a look at who showed up in the latest Louis Vuitton looks this year.
