Slow fashion has many faces. For some labels, it means turning away from seasonal collections. They only have a so-called NOS (Never out of Stock) collection, which they supplement permanently or temporarily with individual pieces. I think this is great because it means you can buy your favorite pieces again and again. Too boring for you? OK. Then an alternative is high fashion. Of course, this is not an issue for everyday life and of course, it is usually subject to certain trends. Nevertheless, the high-quality parts are often timeless, very well made – often by hand – and, therefore, a real investment that is unlikely to end up in the trash. Certainly, one of the best German-speaking designers in the ready-to-wear sector is Rebekka Ruétz.

Rebekka is also a kind of musketeer. Because with her three friends Marcel Ostertag, Kilian Kerner, and Danny Reinke she keeps the Fashion Week alive. Rebekka is also a kind of musketeer. They showed their collections together in a venue – now, for the second time in the Verti Music Hall – to not only a select audience. Rather, they also offered tickets for purchase for their shows. Not to enrich themselves.
Of course, not to collect funds for selected projects. German cancer aid has already been supported under the motto WE FIGHT CANCER.
I AM BY REBEKKA RUÉTZ
Rebekka Ruétz’s “I Am” collection was, as always, exceptionally feminine and sexy. The designer knows how to showcase a woman’s silhouette specially.
The flowing, partly transparent fabrics and the special material mixes were real eye-catchers in every season, including winter. They underline modern feminism, self-determined and self-confident, free and sexy.
