He is not only the brother of one of the most successful singers of our time, but he is also one of the most brilliant artists the music business currently has to offer: FINNEAS.
Now, he released his second album, For Cryin’ Out Loud, which marks a significant evolution from his debut album, Optimist. While his first album was entirely crafted with self-written and performed instrumentals, FINNEAS is now embracing a more expansive creative approach.
He has moved away from the bedroom producer mentality to explore a classic studio and band environment, resulting in what he describes as his most uplifting and raw work to date.
2024, For Cryin’ Out Loud includes the single release Cleats, which adds to the excitement surrounding the album. This project was born from a series of live studio sessions in Los Angeles, where some of FINNEAS’s closest friends and collaborators came together in one space, contributing to the album’s vibrant and dynamic sound.
FINNEAS: FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD! – THE TOUR
In addition to the album announcement, FINNEAS will embark on a tour in 2025, kicking off with a performance on December 21 as the opening act for his sister Billie Eilish at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
His tour, titled FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD!: THE TOUR, will make stops in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the UK, including three concerts in Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne.
As an eight-time Grammy Award winner, FINNEAS stands out as one of the most successful and influential songwriters and producers of his generation. In March, he won his second Oscar for Best Original Song alongside Billie Eilish, further solidifying his place in the music industry. The anticipation for For Cryin’ Out Loud and its singles continues to build, marking an exciting new chapter for the artist.
