It all started with chaos. That’s how Greek mythology begins, where young gods like Zeus overthrow the old Titans. Similarly, in the mind of a 13-year-old hockey player, chaos reigns. Sweet Riley is transforming into a teenager in INSIDE OUT 2.

Pixar amazed us in 2015 with *Inside Out*. It looked like a fun Disney movie at first. But those who took the time realized its philosophical depth. Imagine your emotions as real personalities.
Remember when you first fell in love? Joy made your heart race, but Fear kept you up at night, worrying your love might not be returned.
Your mind said to focus on school, but your desires said otherwise. How cool was it that Pixar personified Riley’s emotions?

Now, in the sequel, we get to see her growing up. Riley is now 13. Strange times! She’s more confident and preparing for hockey camp, hoping to join the Fire Hawks. Sounds great, right?
But, new emotions crash into her head. Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment join the crew. Leading them is the stressful boss and anxiety. INSIDE OUT 2 takes us deeper into Riley’s mind. Director Kelsey Mann and his team connect with our real lives so well. It’s both entertaining and thought-provoking. We see Riley’s challenges and her parents’ struggles.
AN INSIGHT INTO OUR MINDS
Disney and Pixar transport us to a world that feels so close. Everyone has felt the emotions Riley goes through. She becomes our ally. For 96 minutes, let’s time stop and listen to our own emotions.
That’s exciting! Those with a true sense of self hear different things when they listen closely. Many of us now feel sadness, fear, anger, and disgust, especially at the moment.
Looking at Europe and the world, we also recommend that politicians and warmongers take the time to watch INSIDE OUT 2.
THE INSIDE OUT 2 PREMIERES
At the INSIDE OUT 2 premiere in Berlin, empowered women like Betty Taube and Tua El-Fawwal spoke out. They addressed worrying political shifts to the right in the recent European elections.
