As the frontman of Sunrise Avenue, he has delighted millions of fans around the globe since the beginning of the millennium. Now the Finnish singer and songwriter is back with a completely new strength and his first English-language solo single, Samu Haber.

With his likable nature, the versatile singer and musician became an absolute audience favorite, as well as a coach on “The Voice Of Germany” on TV. However, it was time for him to go his own way.
On the single Gimme Your Hand, released at the end of February, an immediately gripping melody combines with modern beats and Samu Haber’s distinctive vocals. This creates a highly infectious pop-rock catchy tune. However, the Finnish musician remains true to himself but presents himself from a new side too. Samu extends his hand to all fans to accompany him on the next stage of his exciting journey.
Samu Haber writes about the creation of the song on Instagram:
After one Taekwondo training session some weeks after the Hamburg-Berlin experience, I went to a public sauna in Helsinki. There was a guy in the other corner of the hot room sitting quiet.
Then he spoke. “Sorry to disturb your moment, but I’m a music producer and you might not know me, but I always wanted to work with you. Do you think you’d give me a chance and we could see how working together feels.” This is when I met my newest producer friend Ilkka. Some days later we and another Finnish writer Axel wrote “Gimme Your Hand”.
In addition to Samu Haber’s new single Me Free My Way, further single releases, his eagerly awaited debut album as a solo artist, and an exclusive club tour are planned for 2024. Hence, you can see him in an intimate setting for the first time.
This time it doesn’t necessarily have to be huge stadiums. Today I want to enjoy life and just have fun on tour. It’s absolutely crazy how many people came to my concerts in Finland last year. I hope I see a few faces again this year on my tour of European clubs.
If only one comes – good. If there are two or two hundred – even better! Everyone is welcome. Right now I’m enjoying the butterflies in my belly getting more and more as I just think about the loud, hot, and sweaty concert nights ahead!
